A new year.... a new garden!

After a pretty sunny April, and a trip to Disneyland in early May, we were all set to start another veggie garden this year. We reoriented the planter box to take better advantage of the sun, and decided to try fewer varieties but greater quantity of our favorite veggies that grew well last year. We also set up a roof for our lettuce to protect it from the extreme rain and sun.
